Poster - WLM Switchboard Calendar 1985
This calendar poster was created by the Women's Liberation Movement Switchboard - Melbourne in 1985.
The poster is another example of the WLM reclaiming the imagery of witches to undermine its previous use as a negative symbol for women. Lesbian and disability symbols are also present within the calendar.
The calendar has various causes and events marked on it including 'International Women's Day' and 'Women Against Rape'. Some of the causes are apparently not related directly to feminism, such as 'Aboriginal Land Rights' which is recorded in July. This shows WLM's solidarity with other oppressed groups.
