Below is a cutting of a fence from the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp, which lasted from 1981-2000.

The camp was set up in protest against decisions to site cruise missiles at RAF Greenham Common in Berkshire, England. This non-violent protest gained great media attention from all over the world at a time when the fight for nuclear superiority was dominating the world.
