Article – Spare Rib: “Disabled Women”

Briggs, A. 1979. Disabled Women. Spare Rib. (80), pp. 14-16 & 28.

The feminist magazine Spare Rib explores the double disadvantage of ableism and sexism that disabled women face, in an article from 1979. The feature includes interviews with several disabled women activists and reflects upon the ways in which the second wave feminist movement has incorporated disability politics.
