Poster – The Model Family Plan (Women’s History Series: 11)

By the Poster-Film Collective, 1983. Part of a series of posters on Women’s History.

This poster focuses on the Beveridge Report from 1942, the growing Welfare State and social provisions for families. The poster also mentions immigration from the British Colonies and the extreme oppression faced by poor black women due to the intersections of gender, class and race.
