Article – Yorkshire Ripper

This is a newspaper article from The Daily Mail on 24th November 1980.

The article documents public uproar over the police’s handling of the Yorkshire Ripper case after they┬árefused to call in Scotland Yard to help, despite evidence that they were struggling. The article was published shortly after the rape and murder of Jacqueline Hill whose body was discovered in Lupton Residences (University of Leeds) on 17th November 1980.
